KidsZone After School Club ("KidsZone", "we", "us") is based at The Tickhill Centre, Tickhill Street, Bradford, BD3 9RY. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We take your privacy seriously and only ask for what we need to help you.

What information do we collect?

When you send us an enquiry through this website, we collect the details you choose to give us, such as your name, phone number, email address and your message. If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we receive the details you share with us in the same way.

We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, or any medical, SEN or safeguarding information through this website. Please share those details with us in person instead.

How do we use your information?

We use your details only to:

• Reply to your enquiry
• Answer your questions about our club
• Arrange a visit if you would like one

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails, and we never sell, trade or rent your personal information to anyone.

Our lawful basis

We use this information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries from parents and carers who have contacted us.

Who else handles your information?

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and our email:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from misuse.
• Resend delivers enquiries from the website form to our inbox.
• Microsoft Outlook provides our email inbox.

We do not store your enquiry on the website itself. Once sent, it is kept only in our inbox, and in Resend's delivery logs for their own retention period. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy also applies.

How do we protect your information?

This website is served securely over HTTPS, so information you send through it is encrypted on its way to us. Only the club can access our inbox, and we keep what you tell us confidential.

How long do we keep it?

If your child joins KidsZone, we keep your enquiry emails for as long as your child attends the club, so we have a record of our conversations with you.

If your child does not join, we keep your enquiry for no longer than 12 months, after which it is deleted.

Do we use cookies?

No. This website does not use cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit our pages. It does not use cookies and does not track you individually.

Our enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help prevent automated spam. Turnstile may process some technical information about your browser as part of this security check.

If we ever add cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your permission first where the law requires it.

Links to other websites

Our website links to a few other services, such as WhatsApp and Google Maps for directions. These have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. It costs nothing, and we will reply within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please speak to us first and we will do our best to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
